Gender sins?
No indeed!
ALL ARE TREATED THE SAME
NO SIN!
SPOKEN BY JESUS
TO A MAN FIRST
THEN TO A WOMAN
WERE THEY RELATED
IT DOES NOT SAY
WOULD YOU THINK THAT THE COMMAND WOULD ALSO INCLUDE
THE MAN'S WIFE AND CHILDREN
OR THE WOMAN IN ADULTERY HER HUSBAND AND CHILDREN?
IT DOESN'T SAY....
YOU CAN CONCLUDE THAT THEY WERE DIFFERENT SITUATIONS
BUT THE COMMAND IS THE SAME FOR BOTH GENDERS!
IF JESUS WERE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE MAN MUST GO HOME
AND CONFESS TO HIS WIFE HE HAD SINNED AND WAS TOLD TO SIN NO MORE,
SINCE THE WOMEN WERE ALWAYS EMPOWERED BY THEIR HUSBAND'S HEAD
OR IF THE WOMAN HAD TO GO TO HER HUSBAND AND CONFESS THAT JESUS SAID GO AND SIN NO MORE, (ASSUMING SHE GAINED PERMISSIONS THROUGH HER HUSBAND)
THE BIBLE BEING SILENT ON THIS
causes us to find the Holy Spirit and the word come to a conclusion from other texts
here and there, we can suppose we understand the rules of that time.
TODAY THE RULE STILL STANDS
BUT THE PENALTIES FOR SIN ARE TAKEN AWAY AT THE CROSS....
1 John 1:9
if we confess our sins....
does not preclude
WE HAVE LICENSE TO SIN AGAIN! God has made provisions for the believer
to continue to walk in faith and direction by the Holy Spirit and the Word.
ANOTHER SAMPLE OF QUESTIONING SIN? JOHN 9:2
His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
